Malam semalam saya yakin ramai yang ternanti-nanti keputusan Pilihanraya Permatang Pauh di televisyen. tapi sungguh mengecewakan. Setelah hampir jam 9, barulah ada terkeluar statement kecil di bawah mengatakan Anuar menang. Sebenarnya apabila melihat tv begitu senyap, semua orang dah boleh agak, ni mesti BN kalah. Saya pulak tak sabar nak ke office pagi-pagi ni sebab nak tengok news terbaru.
Dalam kereta, saya sempat dengar ulasan di radio 24/Bernama. Ulasan yang menarik. Bila saya on je radio terus dengar DJ tu cakap surat-surat khabar mengambil masa lebih kurang pukul 10 lebih (saya tak ingat waktu tepat) nak decide apa tajuk muka depan hari ni. Akhirnya keluarlah tajuk2 seperti yang ada dimuka depan new paper hari ni.
Radio 24 juga memberikan ulasan yang agak menarik pagi ni. Dimana DJ tersebut meletakkan isu anuar ini seperti satu novel politik. DJ yang bertugas tu minat dengan novel John Grisham dan beberapa novel terkenal lain.
Saya cuba ringkaskan ulasan tersebut. Cuba kembali kepada beberapa bab sebelum ni. Semasa penamaan berlaku kekeliruan dikalangan wartawan samada terdapat 4 atau 3 bakal calon yang akan dinamakan. Ada maklumat yang memberitahu, terdapat seorang calon yang menarik diri setalah penamaan calon sebaik sahaja pencalonan anuar diterima. Ini bermakna jika pencalonan anuar tidak diterima, pkr masih ada calon. ini merupakan satu strategi yang bijak oleh pkr.
Terdapat juga beberapa subplot dalam jalan cerita ini. iaitu:

Nik Aziz says Saiful copy cat Christians when swearing on Quran
PAS spiritual leader Nik Aziz Nik Mat was rather tired when he arrived at the nomination centre to show his support for PAKATAN RAKYAT’s Permatang Pauh candidate Anwar Ibrahim on Aug 18.
In fact, he did not want to field questions by reporters but when we told him we wanted to ask about Saiful Bukhairy’s recent act of swearing on the Quran that he was sodomised by Anwar, he agreed to say a few things.
He said Saiful’s act of taking an oath on the holy book was Islamic but it was not according to the Muslim culture.
“In Islam, there is no need to place your hands on the Quran when you swear. Placing one’s hands on the Quran is an act of copying the Christians.
“When the Christians swear they put their hands on the Bible, right?” quipped Nik Aziz.
He stressed that the Malays have copied other cultures in placing their hands on the Quran when swearing.
“Other people’s cultures have entered the head of the Malays,” he said.
But his act of declaration about the sodomy act is between him and Allah, added Nik Aziz.

Nik Aziz is totally wrong – Christians are not to swear at all!
The Word of God teaches us not to swear on anything and just do not swear at all.
This swearing or oath-taking is a Western tradition, and since they were influenced by Christianity and there were no other prominent religions in these countries so probably that why they used the Bible.
Please do not ALWAYS Equate Western traits, traditions, styles, with Christianity – THIS IS SICKENING!!!
And even in Christianity there are divided into 2 groups – Catholic and Protestant.
There is a Great difference between these two.
Catholic – idol worship
worship of Mary the ‘mother’ of the Lord
Jesus
the clergy is their link to God
(confessions made to them)
etc,
Protestant – none of ALL the Above.
On a further note, even the President of USA, G. W. Bush who claims to be a born-again Christian is a Satan worshiper – he admitted to belonging to Skull n Bones religious group. They place a skull (Geranimo’s) in their worship meeting and worship before it. They LOVED Darkness. He has betrayed his country many times even though he swore or took an oath before taking office.
So there goes swearing or oath-taking – down the gutter.

He told us not to swear on anything or in fact He said “do not swear at all..”
So what is Tok Guru Nik Aziz saying? He is saying the right thing.
Yes,he is only telling what he saw with his own pair of eyes.
He saw people swearing on the Bible in the western courts.
You can’t blame him for this.
We have to explain to him here.The Lord Jesus Christ said no swearing on anything but how come people are swearing on the Bible? Rather confusing for Tok Guru right?
We have to tell Tok Guru, just like some muslims do things that are not written in the quran,there are some christians who do things that are not written in the Bible. People are people,they are the same everywhere you go.
Then he might ask what are the Bible scholars doing? We have to be humble to tell him also that these scholars hold different schools of thoughts. Some say yes,some say no, just like in Islam.
We have to be fair to people like him and tell him that its the same here,
Whatever God says “do”, they will not do,whatever God never said in His word they do.
You have to give him an example to make him understand clearly.
For eg. The Lord Jesus never gave a commandment to the christians to celebrate christmas.Its not there in the Bible.Never once did he ever tell them
to celebrate his birthday. Yes,we can remember His virgin birth and be thankful of it but to do things that he never told us to do, confuses people around us. December 25th is not in the Bible at all.
But, yet people celebrate. More so they celebrate it with drunkenness,gluttony,extravagant-elegant lifestyle when He himself was born to a poor family in a manger because there was ‘no room’ for him in the inn.He identified with the poor and humbled Himself before God, His Father.
Surely Tok Guru must have been confused about this too and many other things that are not in the Bible. Do you think a man like Tok Guru would not have read the Bible himself?
So who is responsible for this confusion. Yes,our own carelessness.
There are many things that the Lord Jesus told us to do and we are not doing it. Is it right of us to be upset with what Tok Guru had said? I think we shouldn’t because we shouldn’t do those things that He never asked us to do.

KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia — Malaysia’s Islamic opposition party has urged the government to cancel a concert by Avril Lavigne, saying the Canadian singer’s on-stage moves are “too sexy,” an official said Monday.
Lavigne, a Grammy-nominated rock singer who burst to fame with her 2002 debut album “Let’s Go,” plans to start her monthlong Asia tour with a performance in Kuala Lumpur on Aug. More..29.
The youth wing of the Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party said Lavigne’s concert would promote wrong values ahead of Malaysia’s Aug. 31 independence day.
“It is considered too sexy for us. … It’s not good for viewers in Malaysia,” said Kamarulzaman Mohamed, a party official. “We don’t want our people, our teenagers, influenced by their performance. We want clean artists, artists that are good role models.”
Kamarulzaman said he sent a protest letter to the Culture, Arts and Heritage Ministry and the Kuala Lumpur mayor last week, calling for the concert to be canceled.
An official from the Culture Ministry’s department that vets all foreign artists said the government has not given permission for the concert yet. The department is to meet Tuesday to decide on the organizer’s application, which was received last week.
The official declined to be named because she is not authorized to make public statements.
A spokesman for the concert’s organizer, Galaxy Group, denied that Lavigne’s show had any “negative elements.”
The spokesman, who declined to be named citing protocol, said his company was confident of receiving the permit as feedback from authorities so far had been “very positive.”
Malaysia requires all performers to wear clothes without obscene or drug-related images and be covered from chest to knees. They must also refrain from jumping, shouting, hugging and kissing on stage.
Still, members of PAS and other conservative Muslims often protest Western and even Malaysian music shows that they deem to be inappropriate.
Last year, pop singer Gwen Stefani made what she called “a major sacrifice” by donning clothes that revealed little skin at a performance here.
Also last year, Christina Aguilera skipped Malaysia during an Asian tour that included neighboring Singapore, Thailand and the Philippines, while R&B superstar Beyonce scratched a planned concert here, moving it to Indonesia.
A Pussycat Dolls concert in 2006 was fined 10,000 ringgit (US$2,857) after the U.S. girl group was accused of flouting decency regulations.

Save Fuel

Isu Menarik
4 hari saya tak online. Fuh.. boleh sakit jantung dubuatnya. Dah la minggu ni banyak berita-berita hangat. Kalau nak harap tengok Buletin Utama je memang tak boleh harap la. Ok, apa berita yang menarik perhatian saya kebelakangan ni?
1. Saiful Bukhari bersumpah – Walaupun saya dah naik loya dengan kes ni, tapi yang ni memang betul-betul menarik perhatian saya. Tak banyak lagi yang saya baca tentang angkat sumpah saiful ni. Ada yang kata dia di ugut, digunakan. Hmm.. tapi bila dengar dia bersumpah tu saya pun boleh tergugat. Yelah, sumpah atas nama Allah. Kalau kita umat Islam yang takut dengan Allah, mestilah kita rasa takkan ada orang berani menipu sampai bersumpah dengan nama Allah. Tapi, ntahlah. Sekarang ni apa-apa pun boleh jadi. Kiamat dah dekat.
2. Koata 10% Uitm dibuka kepada bukan bumiputera. – wah..wah.. seronok nampak budak-budak uitm ni buat PERHIMPUNAN SECARA AMAN. Dulu kalau student pembangkang yang buat, pandai pulak cakap guna cara yang betullah, tak payah demo-demo lah. Semenjak jadi pembangkang ni pandai pulak berdemo. Yelah secara aman lah katakan. Mestilah boleh. Baguslah tu, praktik2lah berdemo, nanti senang bila betul2 dah jadi pembangkang. Oh ye, yang kelakarnya rentak laungan demo tu sama macam laungan PAS. Haha.. Ok2.. Untuk isu ni saya taknak komen banyak, saya tak habis kaji lagi. Tapi saya pun tak faham kenapa Khalid Ibrahim keluarkan statement (cadangan) tu. Saya rasa kalau statement tu, Hishamudin yang kelaurkan ke, Najib keluarkan ke, pembangkang pun berdemo jugak.
3. Pilihanraya Permatang Pauh. - Isu ni memang saya blur sikit. Tak banyak berita yang saya tahu. Jauh sangat Permatang Pauh tu. Bila dengar kes kena pukul, kes kena raba, saya pun takboleh nak komen. Macam-macam kemungkinan boleh jadi. Kemungkinan memang betul PKR yang buat tu ada jugak, ada beberapa orang yang tukang provoke mungkin jugak, memang group tu adalah orang UMNO yang pakai baju PKR mungkin jugak, orang-orang PKR yang disogok pun boleh jugak..hmm.. macam-macam.. Sama lah dengan kesa raba tu.
4. Lee Chong Wei vs Lin Dan. Hehe.. sempat jugak tu. Saya tengok jugak match semalam, tapi set kedua saya tak tengok dah, sebab dah rasa nak kalah. Setalah bertahun-tahun, nilah 1st time saya tengok badminton balik. Last sekali masa komanwell yang dekat KL dulu kot. Chong Wei nampak stress sangat. Malaysia ni dari dulu lagi memang cepat luntur semangat.
Hmm.. tu je rasanya. Sebenarnya, saya sendiri tak sempat lagi nak baca isu-isu ni. Tengok sikit-sikit je. Lagipun pagi ni sakit kepala sikit. Tak larat nak fikir benda-benda yang kritikal ni. kalau siapa-siapa tau berita menarik, boleh la bagi link dekat saya. =)
Kelas Tusyen
Rabu. 10.57 pm.
Saya baru saja habis mengajar tusyen lebih kurang pukul 10 tadi. Lupe sekejap masalah kerja bila ngajar anak-anak murid ni. Baru saya teringat, saya tak pernah lagi cerita tentang tusyen saya, tentang anak murid saya. Saya mula mengajar tusyen di rumah saya lebih kurang sebulan lepas. Sekarang ni student saya dah ada 14 orang, baru masuk dua orang minggu ni. Saya ajar dua minggu sekali, dua jam setiap sesi, 8.00-10.00 pm. 14 orang student ni saya bahagikan pada 2 kumpulan. Satu kumpulan Isnin dan Rabu, untuk darjah 1 sampai 5 dan group 2 hari Khamis dan Ahad, untuk student UPSR dan tadika/masih belajar membaca.
Hari ni saya ajar group 1, kalau dengan group ni saya relax siket. Depa ni pun ceria dan kelakar dan juga sangat bersemangat. Saya ajar subjek matematik dan english. Hari ni saya ajar english. Pening juga nak fikir macamana nak ajar english dekat diorang ni. Anak murid saya ni semuanya sangat lemah english. Kalau saya cakap english satu ayat je pun. Depa dah ternganga dah. Kena lah saya ulang balik dalam bahasa melayu. Saya ada terfikir untuk ajar lagu english, tapi asik tak sempat je nak mencari. Since siang tadi saya pun takde mood nak buat kerja, saya cubalah cari-cari lagu yang sesuai. Cari punya cari akhirnya saya tertarik dengan satu lagu ni, What a beutiful world nyanyian Louis Armstrong. Lagu ni lagu lama. Bahasa dia mudah, banyak word yang saya dah pernah ajar. Cuma suara penyanyinya agak kasar dan mungkin my student susah nak tangkap setiap perkataan.

Sebenarnya, saya sendiri bila dengar lagu dan tengok video ni, saya betul-betul tersentuh. Lagu ni membuatkan saya berfikir tentang hebatnya kejadian alam. Hebatnya kejadian tuhan.
Saya save video ni, dan tunjukan pada anak murid saya. Kemudian saya tunjukan lirik lagu ni dan terangkan maksudnya. Memang meraka banyak lupa perkataan-perataan yang telah saya ajar sebelum ni. Saya ada juga cari lagu nasyid English, tapi tak jumpa yang sesuai. Perkataan yang diguna tinggi sangat, tak sampai lagi level depa ni.
Esok turn group 2. Haa.. yang ni saya pening siket. Ada seorang student dari group 1 saya pindahkan ke group ni, sebab tak tahu baca lagi, dah darjah satu pun. Nak buat macamne, terpaksa la masuk kelas membaca balik. Tapi untuk matematik saya tetap masukkan dia dalam group satu. Matematik dia ok pulak.
Yang memeningkan saya dalam group 2 ni, ada 3 orang yang suka menangis. Aduhai, yang kakak and abang upsr ni suka pulak mengusik. Bila saya bangun je ada jelah yang menangis sebab kena usik. Tapi dalam dok nangis-nangis tu diorang akan baca jugak kalau saya suruh baca. Hehehe.. saya ni teacher yang garang. Sambil nangis-nangis pun depa baca lagi, saya siap suruh baca kuat-kuat lagi. Memang kadang-kadang tu ta tahan sangat. Yelah kita dah ajar berulang kali, masih tak dapat lagi. Lagipun hampir semua anak murid saya ni sedara mara saya. Ada yang duduk depan rumah je,jiran sebelah rumah. So, saya kena tunjuk tegas sikit. Kalau tak, diorang main-main dan tak serius.
Harap saya dapat bertahan lama dengan kelas tusyen ni. Sekarang ni tengah fikir plan mengajar yang sesuai untuk depa ni.
